We are looking for an experienced member to join our production team Team Leader, who will take charge of the car seat production team. We are looking for someone who can organise work effectively, motivate their team and, at the same time, oversee quality, safety and adherence to the production schedule.
If you have experience in a manufacturing environment and are no stranger to managing people, this role could be just the one for you.
What you'll be doing with us:
- Management and organisation of the car seat production team
- Ensuring that the daily production plan and set targets are met
- Coordination of production activities with a focus on quality and production efficiency
- Overseeing compliance with safety rules, quality standards and working procedures
- Organising staffing levels according to current production requirements
- Staff induction, support and further development
- Regularly assessing team members’ performance and providing feedback
- Seeking ways to improve production processes, increase their efficiency and reduce waste
- Resolving day-to-day production issues in collaboration with the quality, maintenance and logistics departments
- Monitoring and reporting on production indicators, such as production volume, downtime or scrap rates
- Maintaining a safe and well-organised working environment
- Working with the Production Manager and other departments to plan production and the necessary resources
What we expect from you:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in the automotive sector would be an advantage
- Previous experience of managing staff, for example as a team leader, shift supervisor or in a similar role
- A good understanding of production processes and quality standards
- The ability to lead, motivate and organise a team
- Good communication skills
- The ability to communicate in English
- Independence and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good organisational skills and the ability to set priorities
- A basic technical understanding of production facilities and machinery
- Experience in production reporting and monitoring performance indicators
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
