The Production Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of automotive seats while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
This role involves working closely with production, logistics, purchasing and customer service teams to align production activities with customer demand and material availability
What knowledge and skills should you have?
- Experience in supply chain management, production planning, industrial engineering or related field (an advantage).
- Previous experience in scheduling, production planning or supply chain in the automotive industry, ideally in a seating manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP / MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle or similar).
- Communicative knowledge of English.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, JIT and JIS principles.

- Ensuring that raw materials, components and sub-assemblies are available in the right quantities and at the right time to meet production schedules.
- Work with material planners and suppliers to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Support for Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) manufacturing principles to optimize material flow
